Role Summary
The Videographer is responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing high-quality video content that drives engagement and supports Bad Birdie's brand and marketing objectives across all digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Content Creation and Production
- Develop creative video concepts that align with Bad Birdie's brand pillars: Bold Creativity, Good Times, and Radical Inclusivity.
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various platforms including social media, website, and advertising campaigns
- Create a mix of content types including product showcases, brand stories, lifestyle content, and performance marketing assets
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure video content aligns with overall marketing strategies and campaigns
Technical Expertise
- Operate and maintain video equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio gear
- Stay updated on the latest video production techniques and technologies
- Manage the organization and storage of video files and equipment
Post-Production
- Edit raw footage and sound files to create polished final videos
- Apply motion graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality
- Optimize videos for different platforms and devices
Performance Optimization
- Analyze video performance metrics and apply insights to future content creation
- A/B test different video styles, lengths, and formats to maximize engagement
- Stay informed about platform-specific best practices for video content
Collaboration
- Work closely with the social media team to create platform-specific video content
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to produce high-converting product videos
- Support the partnerships team in creating content for brand collaborations and influencer partnerships
